dc.description.abstractNesta dissertação, refletimos sobre como os discursos constroem efeitos de sentidosplurais na narrativa de si da artista Elke Maravilha, tendo o corpo como lugar demanifestação da moda em diferentes esferas sociais. Com um olhar discursivo, temoso objetivo de fazer uma leitura que mescla dispositivos da ordem da língua e daordem histórica, que determinam a produção de efeitos de sentido por meio de relatosde experiências vividas e de indumentárias usadas pela artista ao longo de suacarreira. Buscamos identificar como, nessa projeção de imagens de si, tanto na suadimensão de indumentária, quanto no seu funcionamento enunciativo verbal,manifestam-se os posicionamentos e engajamentos da artista. Analisamos também osdiscursos e imaginários que atravessam as narrativas desse ícone da mídia brasileira,sob a ótica de Dominique Maingueneau (1997; 2006; 2008; 2011; 2015; 2016; 2020),Émile Benveniste (1989; 1991), Guy Debord (1997), Ida Lúcia Machado (2016),Leonor Arfuch (1995; 2010), Malcolm Barnard (2003), Patrick Charaudeau (1991;1999; 2004; 2006; 2017; 2018), Ruth Amossy (2005; 2018), entre outros, que nosajudaram a apontar os vários ethé da artista. Como diretriz para esta pesquisa, sãoutilizados pressupostos da Teoria Semiolinguística de Análise do Discurso comrelação ao ato de linguagem como encenação, às competências de linguagem, àmanipulação dos modos de organização do discurso e à Modalização(CHARAUDEAU, 1991,1999). Também são abordados aspectos linguísticodiscursivosda argumentação diretamente ligados a essa teoria. O corpus é compostopor cinco cadernos com entrevistas da artista que o autor coletou, transcreveu edividiu em três eixos para análise: construção identitária, mídia e moda. A partirdesta pesquisa podemos realizar a análise das narrativas de si da artista ElkeMaravilha, o que contribuiu para a (re)construção identitária dos relatos da artista.Buscamos igualmente, a partir da análise do interdiscurso, identificar os signosintomasde imaginários mobilizados tanto no âmbito verbal, quanto não verbal, oque implicou analisar as projeções etóticas construídas a partir da indumentária. Aanálise fundamentou-se na compreensão do uso de índices de subjetividade ecorporalidade, buscando, por fim, descrever as projeções etóticas mais salientesexpressas nos relatos analisados. Os resultados desta pesquisa demonstram que adinâmica empregada propiciou integração, assimilação e compartilhamento dasexperiências na elaboração do conhecimento entre discurso e interdiscurso,compreensão do ethos que a artista sempre quis mostrar na mídia e que sempredefendeu em sua estética e ética. Percebemos que não é difícil encontrar mil e duascoisas escritas sobre Elke Maravilha, afinal, há tempos, ela faz parte de nossoimaginário e tornou-se mais que uma personalidade na moda. Desde o início, elasempre projetou imagens de si como sendo uma pessoa irreverente, anárquica,exagerada e sem papas na língua. Para além dessas projeções etóticas,aparententemente intencionais da artista, foi-nos possível observar imagináriossociodiscursivos que revelam um posiciomento político social de valorização daigualdade, do respeito à diversidade étinico-racial e de gênero e reconhecimento dediversas manifestações religiosas e culturais.
dc.description.abstractotherIn this dissertation, we reflect on how discourses build effects of plural meanings inthe self-narrative of the artist Elke Maravilha, having the body as a place ofmanifestation of fashion in different social spheres. With a discursive look, we aim tomake a reading that mixes devices of the order of language and of the historical order,which determine the production of meaning effects through reports of livedexperiences and clothing worn by the artist throughout her career. We seek to identifyhow, in this projection of images of herself, both in it’s dimension of clothing and init’s verbal enunciative functioning, the artist's positions and engagements aremanifested. We also analyze the discourses and imaginaries that cross the narrativesof this Brazilian media icon, from the perspective of Dominique Maingueneau (1997;2006; 2008; 2011; 2015; 2016; 2020), Émile Benveniste (1989; 1991), Guy Debord(1997) ), Ida Lúcia Machado (2016), Leonor Arfuch (1995; 2010), Malcolm Barnard(2003), Patrick Charaudeau (1991; 1999; 2004; 2006; 2017; 2018), Ruth Amossy(2005; 2018), among others, who helped us to point out the various ethé of the artist.As a guideline for this research, assumptions from the Semiolinguistic Theory ofDiscourse Analysis are used in relation to the act of language as staging, to languageskills, to the manipulation of the modes of discourse organization and to Modalization(CHARAUDEAU, 1991, 1999). Linguistic-discursive aspects of argumentationdirectly linked to this theory are also addressed. The corpus consists of five notebookswith interviews of the artist that the author collected, transcribed and divided intothree axes for analysis: identity construction, media and fashion. Based on thisresearch, we can carry out an analysis of the narratives of the artist Elke Maravilha,which contributed to the (re)construction of the identity of the artist's reports. We alsosought, from the analysis of the interdiscourse, to identify the signs-symptoms ofimaginaries mobilized both in the verbal and non-verbal scopes, which impliedanalyzing the ethic projections constructed from the clothing. The analysis was basedon the understanding of the use of subjectivity and corporality indices, seeking,finally, to describe the most salient ethotic projections expressed in the analyzedreports. The results of this research demonstrate that the dynamics used providedintegration, assimilation and sharing of experiences in the elaboration of knowledgebetween discourse and interdiscourse, understanding of the ethos that the artist alwayswanted to show in the media and that she always defended in her aesthetics andethics. We realized that it is not difficult to find a thousand and two things writtenabout Elke Maravilha, after all, she has been part of our imagination for some timeand has become more than a personality in fashion. From the beginning, she hasalways projected images of herself as irreverent, anarchic, over-the-top andoutspoken. In addition to these apparently intentional ethotic projections by the artist,it was possible for us to observe socio-discursive imaginaries that reveal a socialpolitical position of valuing equality, respect for ethnic-racial and gender diversityand recognition of various religious and cultural manifestations.
